The scope of services is provided at various phases of a project ranging from exploration to production, engineering to construction, upstream and downstream.
 
Job and missions : 
 
SURF Welding Supervisor
 
The service holder is responsible, within the SURF team, for assisting Welding Superintendent in following-up, monitoring and supervising welding activities carried out by SURF Contractor and Subcontractor(s) at the SURF site, ensuring that his discipline’s contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by
SURF Contractor and Subcontractor(s).
In this respect, the service holder closely monitors the correct implementation of approved welding procedures, the storage and the consumption of welding consumables.
He reports on a day-to-day basis to the SURF Welding Superintendent.
The service holder participates to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with SURF Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours as required... and ensures an adequate reporting to the SURF Welding Superintendent (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and/or implementation by SURF Contractor and/or Subcontractors).
As a general manner, the service holder provides assistance to Company Construction team for all matters related to his discipline in accordance with instructions provided by the SURF Welding Superintendent and is accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
 
Required qualifications and background :
  • A solid Oil & Gas industry background is requested
  • Welding Engineer Diploma or CSWIP 3.2 equivalent
  • 10 years’ experience in welding activities
  • English mandatory
