Vistra Energy has announced its plan to nearly double the output and capacity of the Moss Landing Energy Storage in California’s Monterey Bay, the world’s biggest battery storage project.

Here are some key points:
🔋 The facility could eventually host 1,500MW/6,000MWh of batteries.
🗓 The commissioning is planned for June 2023.
♻️ Vistra is targeting carbon neutrality by 2050, mostly thanks to this project.
